“Only A Dream” was once a two-part song, meant to bookend the record: “Only a Dream (Intro)” was the orchestral piece, plus a hard rock instrumental in 10/4; and “Only a Dream (Outro)” was a hard rock instrumental reprise, concluding with a dueling solo build up, and sound effects to illustrate the dreamer waking up in the middle of a storm before their alarm goes off. The “intro” portion eventually morphed into “The Lone Wolf.”
