Lyrics
I think I made a mistake
I think I’m living in sin
You know you got me
And you ain’t giving up
You know I’m always giving in
Pull me down
Say goodnight
It’s a feeling so strange
When I’m holding you tight
I should probably go
But it’s never enough
‘Cause I know you’re the one
Who can fill me up with your…
Chorus
Poisonous love
I think I’m living in sin
The room is starting to spin
I feel uneasy within
That’s when I start to give into temptation
My mind on vacation
You crawl under my skin
Poisonous love
Fills me again
I think I’m ready to break
I think I’m already gone
You’ve got me feeling like I got no control
Please tell me you’re not leading me on
Come in close
Say it’s right
It’s a feeling so strange
When I look in those eyes
I should probably go
You know it’s never enough
‘Cause you are the one
Who can fill me up with your…
(Chorus)
Oh, fill me up again!
Fill me up
Inject my soul
Rid me now of self-control
With more, more, more, more, more!
(Chorus)
Poisonous love
I think I’m living in sin
I’m crawling deeper within my obsession
Release my repressions
I can’t help but give in
Poisonous love, poisonous love!
I feel you under my skin
Poisonous love

Trivia
“Poisonous Love” was influenced by the Matchbox Twenty song “Disease.”
In 2015, Bryce decided to rewrite the bass line for the main riff to be more of a driving rhythm, but did not release a rerecorded version of the song to reflect said changes.
The last note of the song is held out long enough for a vocal wind-down, which was removed in post-production, but remains part of the live version.
This song was featured on an Alternative Radio Sampler by Oasis Disc Manufacturing, the company who did the replication of the first 300 copies of March to Midnight.
