Trivia

“The Love Song” is unlikely to ever appear in a Midnight Notion set list. When Bryce wrote the song, he was following in the footsteps of Blink-182, who spent a large chunk of their career making crude jokes and songs (like “Family Reunion,” “The Dog Song,” and “Happy Holidays, You Bastard”), purely for the shock value. The intent of this song was similar, but just like its influences, it didn’t age well.

Due to Bryce’s embarrassment by the swear words, they were censored out with a white noise generator. There is no uncensored version of the song available.
